The mission of the Giving Network is to reach out to people in our community who have needs for basic items in their homes and to give to them items which are donated by others who no longer need them, so that those people can become more self-sufficient and be able to participate more fully in the opportunities of our society.

The mission of the Giving Network is to be achieved by meeting these objectives:

1. Determine those in the community who have specific basic needs of food, household items, small appliances, linens and baby items and furniture.

2. Solicit individuals and organizations and obtain donations of needed items.

3. Organize and distribute needed items to individuals and families and to shelters, food banks and other organizations that assist those in need.
